Wood used in the cabins is ether pine or spruce
All wood is kiln dried but only foundation
beams are treated. Treatment is necessary to prolong the life
of your cabin and shouldbe doneas soon as possible, although
it is not essentia lit is recommended that the foundation
beams be re-treated before assembling the cabin.
All log cabins are supplied with full instructions,they are
not supplied with screws for the floor,roof and windows,windows
and doors come with hinges, you will require screws to fix
windows into outcuts.
Log cabins should be placed on a level base,concrete or garden slabs are ideal.
Glass fitted in log cabins cabins is mostly single glaed,however some models are double glazed,glass is not safty or toughened glass.
Log cabins come complete with floor,and wooded roof,other coverings such as roof tiles and shingles have to be applied,and is the customers responsibilty.
Fitting sevice is available in some areas, and price is based
on cabin size.
Delivery is included in cabin price as long as the following conditions are applied:
Delivery is to kerbside,and is manually
of loaded,therefore we require a miniumof two able-bodied
persons to assist in off loading. Access must be available
for a normal truck allowing 3 metres width and 9 metres,a
crane or hi-ab off loadis available at an additional cost.
There is also an additional cost for timed deliveries,and
deliveries that are out of normal working hours Monday-Friday.
If Log cabins are in stock they can
normally be delivered in 5 to 7 days, if goods require ordering
this could take up to 6 weeks.
Please note that any cabin with a 3m frontage will always
only ever have a single window.
